We would love this page to have an easy-to-follow comprehensive price list for everything we do but it’s not possible. The bespoke nature of the work we do makes pricing very difficult to standardise.
For example: As a general rule, in London, fitted wardrobes will cost roughly £1000 per linear meter.
However, if we show up and see you have 3m high ceilings, awkward pipes to work around, request additional features or specific materials, the price will go up.
Alternatively, if you are in a newly renovated house approaching second fix, don’t have things for us to work around and we can build on site, the price will come down.
Getting a quote
Step one: You contact us with details about the work you would like us to do:
- Photos and measurtments of the area
- Detail what it is you are after
- Include photos from the internet/pintrest of what it is you’d like
- When you would like the work to be completed by
- A budget if you have one
Step two: We will send a very rough estimate for:
- How much we think it might cost
- How long it might take
- When we might be able to start
- We will not send estimates if we do not think we can complete the work but we may be able to reccommend someone better suited
Step three: We will come to you and do the following:
- Drink a tea with one sugar if you are kind enough to offer
- Take measurements
- Assess the area; how level are your walls and floor, do you have underfloor heating, is there anything else we need to consider
- Talk over your design ideas, work out what is important, highlight limitations, detail anything we think is overly complicated, give you some of our ideas
Step four: One of two things are possible at this stage:
1. We will send a quote
2. We will send a quote with a set of 3D plans
The 3D plans are not free and will be charged separately if you accept the quote or not.
A note on 3D plans
3D plans are essential for any complex build where clarity is absolutely needed or if materials need to be accurately calculated. If you have specific requirements but are unable to convey those to us in detailed drawings we will need to draw up 3D plans.
3D plans will range in price from £100 – £250 depending on the complexity. 1st edits are often done on the house but repeated or major edits to complex plans will be charged. Unfortunately, 3D modeling is time-consuming and often overlooked by customers. We will not draw up plans without prior agreement from you, however, there are jobs we will not complete without plans.
3D plans have several major benefits:
- Less money is spent on materials because materials can be accurately calculated
- It allows us to make detailed cut lists which means there is less waste, which is better for the environment especially when using MDF and for your pocket
- You can see how a design will sit in the room; are the portions correct, is it too dominating, would another shelf look better
- They ensure we are all on the same page
